One evening in late June, 2021, I saw the sun set over the Norwood bridge in my neighborhood. It burned an eerie red while the rest of the sky was tinted a greyish mauve with clouds surrounding it. This short improv is a sound portrait of sorts recreating that scene. The F drone represents the sun, while the clarinet, flute-like sounds and the chords surround it on an A Minor scale, representing the mauve and purple surrounding it.
